Dr. Ethel Rios
Dr. Rios comes from a family of physicians and dentists, and has always been interested in the human body and science. Having inherited a love for art from her mother, Dr. Rios has found a way to weave her passions for creativity and helping others into her practice of dentistry.
She studied general dentistry and endodontics at a university in Mexico before earning her licensure in California in 2014. Since completing her dental degree and licensure, Dr. Rios has continued to keep up with the latest advancements in the field of dentistry through continuing education courses and seminars.
Dr. Rios is committed to prevention, patient education, and exceptionally high standards of care. She prioritizes her patients’ needs and overall health in every treatment she recommends.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Rios enjoys spending time with family, going to museums, painting, photography, and hiking.

The Invisalign Treatment Process
Consultation & Exam
During your first visit, your doctor will take a look at your bite and smile to determine if Invisalign is the right option for you. This is also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions that you may have about your smile, Invisalign, or other treatment options.
Aligner Pick Up
Once you’re approved for treatment, we will take scans or impressions of your teeth to ensure your Invisalign trays fit perfectly. When your aligners arrive at our office, you’ll come and pick them up to begin your treatment.
Check-ins
Once you’re approved for treatment, we will take scans or impressions of your teeth to ensure your Every six weeks or so, you’ll come back to our office to pick up your next few sets of aligners. Every treatment plan is different, so this amount of time may vary based on your needs. These check-ins are essential to ensure your treatment is on track and that your Invisalign trays are fitting properly.

Dr. Blalock grew up on a beef cattle farm in Crossville, TN. The time he spent working on the farm taught Dr. Blalock valuable problem-solving skills and a good work ethic. After Dr. Blalock suffered a dental injury when a cow’s hoof contacted his teeth, his dentist repaired his smile and sparked a fascination for the art of dentistry. Because of that experience, Dr. Blalock realized his calling was to become a dentist. He loves that dental work gives him the ability to work creatively with his hands while interacting with patients and making a positive impact on their lives.
Dr. Blalock graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tennessee Tech University with an undergraduate degree in health science biology. He went on to graduate with honors from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry
